The programme is a fully credited, Masters level course which will also prepare you for the Membership examinations for Paper 1, 2 and 3.

Important Safety Update
There is now an additional form for completion by your educational supervisor. In the event that you are involved in a violent incident or feel that your safety has been compromised, you must complete the Violent Incident form (Trainee Version). If you are absent from work your supervisor should complete Violent Incident form on your behalf (Trainer Version). These forms were (previously know as the 'Orange Form'). By completing these forms the schools Safety Officer can ensure that the incident is followed up and plans have been made (where requried) to ensure that such a incident can be prevented again in the future. Please note that this is in addition to completing Local Trust incident reporting procedures.
METIS Update
METIS has continued to perform exceptionally well since its introduction in 2008. This year we have added the Record of On Call, Record of Supervision, ARCP holder and updated the mandatory sections. We will continue to develop and refine the portfolio, using both trainee and trainer comments during this second year.
The 2009 Curriculums have now been transcribed into the summary of evidence section. (Apart from the child and Adolescent curriculum, which we are working on)
Please also make sure you are familiar with the full version of the new 2010 curriculum on the Royal College Website.
Big thank you to Dan Powerly (developer) who does everything we ask and more!
