Mid Point & TPD Reviews Autumn 2011

You should all by now have completed your mid point review on METIS. THis can be done by either your educational supervisor or site tutor depending on which trust you are in.

TPD review appointments are currently being sent out for Dec - Feb. You MUST attend this appointment. If for any reason this just isn't possible please email stating the reasons, we will where possible allocate an alternative date.

Prior to the review please ensure that you have completed/uploaded all of your induction requirements, completed the educational supervisors report, have had WPBAs etc validated, started to populate the summary of evidence and basically made good progress with your portfolio.

If you struggle with any of this or need help using METIS then please do contact us straight away

Educational Supervision

Are you receiving regular (1 hour per week) supervision? If not please contact us asap. All educational supervision shoudl be logged in METIS, your supervisor should login as themselves to validate that this is a correct record. Don't leave it until the last minute.

 

Any Problems or other Educational Requirements?

Please let us know when you are experiencing problems. We will do our very best to help you once we are aware. If you have any specialist needs then again let us know straight away, don't assume someone else will tell us.... the quicker we know the faster we can act.

Study Leave for Exams

Please note that you must apply for study leave to sit the MRCPsych exams. Study Leave policy

 

MRCPsych Course

You should be registered for this course now. Failure to register soon may result in you having to self fund. Please note that course attendance registers are sent to tutors on a monthly basis so that they can check attenance, particulary in relation to how much on call may interfere with attendance and therefore progress.. Your TPD will also receive a copy of the progress report for disucsion at the TPD reviews.
